Alfreton Town welcome Curzon Ashton at The Impact Arena, Alfreton, Derbyshire on Saturday, Nov 21 at 4:00 PM in a Northern Premier League fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 1 point split them in the table.
Alfreton Town come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 2D 1L). Curzon Ashton, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 0D 2L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Despite playing at home, Alfreton Town face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Curzon Ashton have won 5 of 10 encounters, with 3 draws. Their last encounter ended in Alfreton Town won 0–1.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Alfreton Town a slight edge, but Curzon Ashton are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
