Alloa Athletic welcome Cove Rangers at The Indodrill Stadium, Alloa on Saturday, Apr 24 at 4:00 PM in a League 1 fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 2 points split them in the table.
Alloa Athletic come into this fixture struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5). Cove Rangers travel struggling badly (0W 4L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
In 10 previous meetings, Alloa Athletic lead 4–2 with 4 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 1–1 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Alloa Athletic a slight edge, but Cove Rangers are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
