Ararat Armenia face NEC Nijmegen at Republican Stadium - Vazgen Sargsyan, Yerevan on Thursday, Dec 10 at 6:45 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the League Stage, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.

Ararat Armenia come into this fixture struggling badly (0W 3L in last 3). NEC Nijmegen, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (1W 1D 1L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Ararat Armenia head into this on the back of a defeat, while NEC Nijmegen arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Ararat Armenia a slight edge, but NEC Nijmegen are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
