Ashington AFC and Guisborough Town meet on Saturday, Jan 16 at 4:00 PM in the Northern Premier League – East Division.
Ashington AFC come into this fixture struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5). Guisborough Town, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 2D 1L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Ashington AFC head into this on the back of a defeat, while Guisborough Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Ashington AFC a slight edge, but Guisborough Town are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
