Basford United and Carlton Town meet at Greenwich Avenue, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire on Saturday, Dec 26 at 4:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Northern Premier League – Midlands Division. Just 0 points separate them in the standings.

Basford United come into this fixture in good form (3W 0D 2L recently). Carlton Town are drawing too many games (3D in last 5), making this a relatively even contest on current form. Basford United head into this on the back of a defeat, while Carlton Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.

Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Basford United win or a draw looks most likely.
