Basford United and Loughborough University meet at Greenwich Avenue, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire on Saturday, Feb 13 at 4:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Northern Premier League – Midlands Division. Just 3 points separate them in the standings.

Basford United come into this fixture in good form (3W 0D 2L recently). Loughborough University, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Basford United head into this on the back of a defeat, while Loughborough University arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Basford United a slight edge, but Loughborough University are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
