Blyth Spartans host Ashington AFC at Croft Park, Blyth, Northumberland on Saturday, Dec 26 at 4:00 PM in the Northern Premier League – East Division.
Blyth Spartans come into this fixture in red-hot form (4W from last 5). Ashington AFC travel struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Blyth Spartans won their last outing, while Ashington AFC suffered defeat — home advantage backed by momentum.
Verdict: The gulf in league position makes Blyth Spartans clear favorites, but Ashington AFC have shown they can grind out results. Expect Blyth Spartans to take the points, potentially without being at their best.
