Brighton W host London City Lionesses at Broadfield Stadium, Crawley, West Sussex on Wednesday, Mar 17 at 8:45 PM in the FA Women’s Super League.
Brighton W come into this fixture out of form (1W 2L recently). London City Lionesses, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Brighton W head into this on the back of a defeat, while London City Lionesses arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — Brighton W and London City Lionesses have split their 6 meetings almost evenly (3W–0D–3W). Their last encounter ended in Brighton W won 0–2.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Brighton W a slight edge, but London City Lionesses are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
