Canvey Island welcome Witham Town on Saturday, Jan 23 at 4:00 PM in a Isthmian League – North Division fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 2 points split them in the table.

Canvey Island come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Witham Town travel in mixed form (2W 2D 1L), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Canvey Island head into this on the back of a defeat, while Witham Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.

Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Canvey Island win or a draw looks most likely.
