Carlton Town and Loughborough University meet at Bill Stokeld Stadium, Nottingham, East Midlands on Saturday, Jan 16 at 4:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Northern Premier League – Midlands Division. Just 3 points separate them in the standings.

Carlton Town come into this fixture drawing too many games (3D in last 5). Loughborough University, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Carlton Town a slight edge, but Loughborough University are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
