East Fife welcome Alloa Athletic at MGM Timber Bayview Stadium, Methil on Saturday, Mar 13 at 4:00 PM in a League 1 fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 2 points split them in the table.
East Fife come into this fixture struggling badly (0W 4L in last 5). Alloa Athletic, meanwhile, arrive struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Despite playing at home, East Fife face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Alloa Athletic have won 5 of 10 encounters, with 4 draws. Their last encounter ended in Alloa Athletic won 3–0.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives East Fife a slight edge, but Alloa Athletic are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
