El Zamalek and Modern Sport FC meet at Cairo Int'l Stadium, al-Qāhirah (Cairo) on Sunday, Jan 31 at 4:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Premier League. Just 3 points separate them in the standings.
El Zamalek come into this fixture in red-hot form (4W from last 5). Modern Sport FC travel in good form (3W 1D 1L recently), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
History strongly favours El Zamalek here — they've won 6 of 10 previous meetings against Modern Sport FC, with 3 draws. Their last encounter ended in Modern Sport FC won 1–2.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives El Zamalek a slight edge, but Modern Sport FC are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
