FK Kauno Zalgiris face Riga FC at Dariaus Ir Gireno Stadium, Kaunas on Thursday, Nov 26 at 6:45 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the League Stage, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.
FK Kauno Zalgiris come into this fixture in mixed form (0W 0D 1L). Riga FC, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (0W 1D 0L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow FK Kauno Zalgiris win or a draw looks most likely.
