Genoa U20 and Sassuolo U20 meet on Sunday, Oct 18 at 3:00 PM in the Campionato Primavera 1.
Genoa U20 come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). Sassuolo U20 travel struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Genoa U20 won their last outing, while Sassuolo U20 suffered defeat — home advantage backed by momentum.
Despite playing at home, Genoa U20 face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Sassuolo U20 have won 3 of 4 encounters, with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 1–1 draw. These two tend to produce goals — averaging 3.3 per game in recent meetings.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Genoa U20 a slight edge, but Sassuolo U20 are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
