Gillingham host Fleetwood Town at MEMS Priestfield, Gillingham, Kent on Saturday, Mar 13 at 4:00 PM in the League 2.
Gillingham come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Fleetwood Town travel out of form (1W 2L recently), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
Despite playing at home, Gillingham face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Fleetwood Town have won 5 of 10 encounters, with 5 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 0–0 draw.
Verdict: The gulf in league position makes Gillingham clear favorites, but Fleetwood Town have shown they can grind out results. Expect Gillingham to take the points, potentially without being at their best.
