KV Mechelen host Zulte Waregem at Argosstadion Achter de Kazerne, Mechelen (Malines) on Sunday, Dec 27 at 7:15 PM in the Belgian Pro League.
KV Mechelen come into this fixture struggling badly (0W 3L in last 5). Zulte Waregem, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 1D 2L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
History strongly favours KV Mechelen here — they've won 5 of 10 previous meetings against Zulte Waregem, with 3 draws. Their last encounter ended in KV Mechelen won 2–1.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives KV Mechelen a slight edge, but Zulte Waregem are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
