Leicester City U21 face Arsenal U21 at Leicester Training Ground, Aylestone, Leicester on Friday, Oct 23 at 8:00 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the Premier League 2, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.

Leicester City U21 come into this fixture out of form (0W 2L recently). Arsenal U21, meanwhile, arrive drawing too many games (3D in last 4) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.

In 4 previous meetings, Leicester City U21 lead 1–3 with 0 draws. Their last encounter ended in Arsenal U21 won 1–5. These two tend to produce goals — averaging 4.3 per game in recent meetings.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Leicester City U21 a slight edge, but Arsenal U21 are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
