Lille and Rennes meet at Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Villeneuve d'Ascq on Saturday, Apr 3 at 5:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Ligue 1. Just 2 points separate them in the standings.

Lille come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Rennes, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.

History strongly favours Lille here — they've won 5 of 10 previous meetings against Rennes, with 4 draws. Their last encounter ended in Rennes won 1–2.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Lille a slight edge, but Rennes are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
