London City Lionesses host Liverpool W at Hayes Lane, London on Sunday, Mar 14 at 3:00 PM in the FA Women’s Super League.
London City Lionesses come into this fixture in red-hot form (4W from last 5). Liverpool W travel struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. London City Lionesses won their last outing, while Liverpool W suffered defeat — home advantage backed by momentum.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — London City Lionesses and Liverpool W have split their 3 meetings almost evenly (1W–1D–1W). Their last encounter ended in a 0–0 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives London City Lionesses a slight edge, but Liverpool W are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
