Loughborough University host Mickleover Sports at Loughborough University Stadium, Loughborough, Leicestershire on Saturday, Jan 2 at 4:00 PM in a top-four clash that could have significant title implications. Both sides are separated by just 2 points in the Northern Premier League – Midlands Division, making this one of the more consequential fixtures of the season.

Loughborough University come into this fixture in red-hot form (4W from last 5). Mickleover Sports travel in good form (3W 1D 1L recently), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.

Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Loughborough University win or a draw looks most likely.
