Maritimo host SC Braga at Estadio do Maritimo, Funchal (Ilha da Madeira) on Sunday, Dec 27 at 6:00 PM in the Primeira Liga.
Maritimo come into this fixture struggling badly (0W 3L in last 5). SC Braga, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 1D 1L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Despite playing at home, Maritimo face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. SC Braga have won 6 of 10 encounters, with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in SC Braga won 2–1.
Verdict: Despite home advantage, SC Braga arrive in better form and with the historical edge. This could be a tricky afternoon for Maritimo. SC Braga to win.
