Moreirense welcome Vitoria de Guimaraes at Estadio C. Joaquim de Almeida Freitas, Moreira de Cónegos on Sunday, Feb 28 at 6:00 PM in a Primeira Liga fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 2 points split them in the table.
Moreirense come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). Vitoria de Guimaraes travel out of form (1W 2L recently), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
In 10 previous meetings, Moreirense lead 3–5 with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 1–1 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Moreirense a slight edge, but Vitoria de Guimaraes are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
