Morpeth Town AFC welcome Guisborough Town at Craik Park, Morpeth, Northumberland on Saturday, Jan 30 at 4:00 PM in a Northern Premier League – East Division fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 2 points split them in the table.
Morpeth Town AFC come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Guisborough Town travel in mixed form (2W 2D 1L), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Morpeth Town AFC head into this on the back of a defeat, while Guisborough Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Morpeth Town AFC win or a draw looks most likely.
