NEC Nijmegen host FC Utrecht at Stadion De Goffert, Nijmegen on Sunday, May 23 at 2:30 PM in the Eredivisie.
NEC Nijmegen come into this fixture drawing too many games (4D in last 5). FC Utrecht, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 1D 1L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Despite playing at home, NEC Nijmegen face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. FC Utrecht have won 6 of 10 encounters, with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in FC Utrecht won 3–1.
Verdict: Despite home advantage, FC Utrecht arrive in better form and with the historical edge. This could be a tricky afternoon for NEC Nijmegen. FC Utrecht to win.
