NEC Nijmegen host Fortuna Sittard at Stadion De Goffert, Nijmegen on Sunday, Oct 18 at 8:00 PM in the Eredivisie.
NEC Nijmegen come into this fixture out of form (0W 2L recently). Fortuna Sittard, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 1D 1L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — NEC Nijmegen and Fortuna Sittard have split their 10 meetings almost evenly (4W–3D–3W). Their last encounter ended in Fortuna Sittard won 3–2. These two tend to produce goals — averaging 4.0 per game in recent meetings.
Verdict: Fortuna Sittard's quality should tell even on the road. NEC Nijmegen will push, but the visitors have too much class. Fortuna Sittard to win.
