Preview · Pontefract Collieries vs Ashington AFC
AI · Dec 12
Pontefract Collieries and Ashington AFC meet on Saturday, Dec 12 at 4:00 PM in the Northern Premier League – East Division.
Pontefract Collieries come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Ashington AFC travel struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
Verdict: The gulf in league position makes Pontefract Collieries clear favorites, but Ashington AFC have shown they can grind out results. Expect Pontefract Collieries to take the points, potentially without being at their best.
