Pontefract Collieries and Lincoln United meet on Saturday, Jan 16 at 4:00 PM in the Northern Premier League – East Division.
Pontefract Collieries come into this fixture in good form (3W 1D 1L recently). Lincoln United travel in mixed form (2W 1D 2L), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Pontefract Collieries head into this on the back of a defeat, while Lincoln United arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Pontefract Collieries a slight edge, but Lincoln United are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
