Portland Thorns welcome North Carolina Courage on Saturday, Oct 24 at 4:00 AM in a National Women's Soccer League fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 0 points split them in the table.
Portland Thorns come into this fixture drawing too many games (3D in last 5). North Carolina Courage are in mixed form (2W 0D 3L), making this a relatively even contest on current form.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — Portland Thorns and North Carolina Courage have split their 10 meetings almost evenly (2W–6D–2W). Their last encounter ended in a 2–2 draw.
Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Portland Thorns win or a draw looks most likely.
