Raith Rovers welcome Greenock Morton at Stark's Park, Kirkcaldy on Saturday, Dec 12 at 4:00 PM in a Championship fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 1 point split them in the table.
Raith Rovers come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). Greenock Morton travel in mixed form (2W 0D 3L), which may hand the initiative to the hosts. Raith Rovers head into this on the back of a defeat, while Greenock Morton arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton have split their 10 meetings almost evenly (3W–5D–2W). Their last encounter ended in Greenock Morton won 1–2.
Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Raith Rovers win or a draw looks most likely.
