Ramsgate host Eastbourne Borough at Southwood Stadium, Ramsgate, Kent on Saturday, Jan 9 at 4:00 PM in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Ramsgate come into this fixture in good form (3W 0D 2L recently). Eastbourne Borough, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (5W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Ramsgate head into this on the back of a defeat, while Eastbourne Borough arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — Ramsgate and Eastbourne Borough have split their 1 meetings almost evenly (0W–0D–1W). Their last encounter ended in Ramsgate won 0–2.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Ramsgate a slight edge, but Eastbourne Borough are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
