Rizespor host İstanbul Başakşehir at Caykur Didi Stadyumu, Rize on Sunday, Dec 13 at 2:00 PM in the Süper Lig.
Rizespor come into this fixture struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5). İstanbul Başakşehir, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 1D 2L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Rizespor head into this on the back of a defeat, while İstanbul Başakşehir arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Despite playing at home, Rizespor face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. İstanbul Başakşehir have won 5 of 10 encounters, with 3 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 2–2 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Rizespor a slight edge, but İstanbul Başakşehir are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
