Sassuolo U20 and Genoa U20 meet on Saturday, Jan 16 at 11:00 AM in the Campionato Primavera 1.
Sassuolo U20 come into this fixture struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5). Genoa U20, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 1D 2L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Sassuolo U20 head into this on the back of a defeat, while Genoa U20 arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
History strongly favours Sassuolo U20 here — they've won 3 of 4 previous meetings against Genoa U20, with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 1–1 draw. These two tend to produce goals — averaging 3.3 per game in recent meetings.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Sassuolo U20 a slight edge, but Genoa U20 are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
