Sestri Levante and Sanremese meet on Sunday, Feb 21 at 2:30 PM in the Serie D – Group A.
Sestri Levante come into this fixture out of form (1W 2L recently). Sanremese, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 2D 1L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Sestri Levante head into this on the back of a defeat, while Sanremese arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Despite playing at home, Sestri Levante face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Sanremese have won 5 of 10 encounters, with 3 draws. Their last encounter ended in Sestri Levante won 0–1.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Sestri Levante a slight edge, but Sanremese are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
