Sorrento and Potenza meet on Saturday, Dec 19 at 2:30 PM in the Serie C – Group C.
Sorrento come into this fixture out of form (1W 2L recently). Potenza, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Sorrento head into this on the back of a defeat, while Potenza arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Despite playing at home, Sorrento face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Potenza have won 6 of 10 encounters, with 4 draws. Their last encounter ended in Sorrento won 0–3.
Verdict: Despite home advantage, Potenza arrive in better form and with the historical edge. This could be a tricky afternoon for Sorrento. Potenza to win.
