Preview · Southampton vs West Ham United
AI · Dec 29
Southampton host West Ham United at St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton, Hampshire on Tuesday, Dec 29 at 9:15 PM in the Championship.
Southampton come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 2D 1L). West Ham United, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 2D 0L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
In 10 previous meetings, Southampton lead 2–4 with 4 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 1–1 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Southampton a slight edge, but West Ham United are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
