Stamford AFC face Leiston at Zeeco Stadium, Stamford, Lincolnshire on Saturday, Apr 17 at 4:00 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the Southern League Premier – Central, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.

Stamford AFC come into this fixture struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5). Leiston are struggling badly (1W 3L in last 5), making this a relatively even contest on current form.

Head-to-head records offer little separation — Stamford AFC and Leiston have split their 6 meetings almost evenly (2W–1D–3W). Their last encounter ended in Stamford AFC won 2–0.

Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Stamford AFC win or a draw looks most likely.
