Stockport County host Sheffield Wednesday at Edgeley Park, Stockport, Greater Manchester on Saturday, Apr 17 at 4:00 PM in the League 1.
Stockport County come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 2D 0L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
Head-to-head records offer little separation — Stockport County and Sheffield Wednesday have split their 10 meetings almost evenly (3W–4D–3W). Their last encounter ended in a 0–0 draw.
Verdict: Sheffield Wednesday's quality should tell even on the road. Stockport County will push, but the visitors have too much class. Sheffield Wednesday to win.
