Stocksbridge Park Steels desperately need points on Saturday, Jan 9 at 4:00 PM in the Northern Premier League – East Division. With the team sitting in the bottom three, this is quickly becoming a must-win situation.
Stocksbridge Park Steels come into this fixture struggling badly (0W 5L in last 5). Blyth Spartans, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Stocksbridge Park Steels head into this on the back of a defeat, while Blyth Spartans arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Verdict: Blyth Spartans's quality should tell even on the road. Stocksbridge Park Steels will push, but the visitors have too much class. Blyth Spartans to win.
