Sutton United face Aldershot Town at VBS Community Stadium, Sutton, Surrey on Wednesday, Oct 28 at 8:45 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the National League, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.

Sutton United come into this fixture out of form (0W 2L recently). Aldershot Town are struggling badly (1W 4L in last 5), making this a relatively even contest on current form.

History strongly favours Sutton United here — they've won 4 of 10 previous meetings against Aldershot Town, with 5 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 2–2 draw.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Sutton United a slight edge, but Aldershot Town are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
