Tamworth host Boreham Wood at The Lamb Ground, Tamworth, Staffordshire on Saturday, Jan 30 at 4:00 PM in the National League.
Tamworth come into this fixture in good form (3W 0D 2L recently). Boreham Wood, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (5W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Tamworth head into this on the back of a defeat, while Boreham Wood arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
In 3 previous meetings, Tamworth lead 2–0 with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 3–3 draw. These two tend to produce goals — averaging 4.7 per game in recent meetings.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Tamworth a slight edge, but Boreham Wood are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
