Gimnasia Mendoza desperately need points on Sunday, Oct 18 at 1:00 AM in the Liga Profesional – Clausura. With the team sitting in the bottom three, this is quickly becoming a must-win situation.

Velez Sarsfield come into this fixture drawing too many games (3D in last 5). Gimnasia Mendoza travel out of form (1W 2L recently), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Velez Sarsfield a slight edge, but Gimnasia Mendoza are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
