Veres Rivne and Shakhtar Donetsk meet at Stadion Avanhard, Rivne, Rivne today at 2:30 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Premier League. Just 3 points separate them in the standings.

Veres Rivne come into this fixture drawing too many games (3D in last 5). Shakhtar Donetsk, meanwhile, arrive in red-hot form (4W from last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.

Despite playing at home, Veres Rivne face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. Shakhtar Donetsk have won 8 of 10 encounters, with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in Veres Rivne won 0–1.

Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Veres Rivne a slight edge, but Shakhtar Donetsk are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
