Vitoria de Guimaraes welcome Famalicao at Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques, Guimarães on Sunday, May 16 at 6:00 PM in a Primeira Liga fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 1 point split them in the table.
Vitoria de Guimaraes come into this fixture out of form (1W 2L recently). Famalicao, meanwhile, arrive drawing too many games (3D in last 5) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
History strongly favours Vitoria de Guimaraes here — they've won 6 of 10 previous meetings against Famalicao, with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in Famalicao won 2–1.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Vitoria de Guimaraes a slight edge, but Famalicao are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
