Vitoria de Guimaraes host Maritimo at Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques, Guimarães on Friday, Oct 23 at 9:45 PM in the Primeira Liga.
Vitoria de Guimaraes come into this fixture out of form (1W 2L recently). Maritimo travel struggling badly (0W 3L in last 5), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
History strongly favours Vitoria de Guimaraes here — they've won 8 of 10 previous meetings against Maritimo, with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in Maritimo won 1–2.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Vitoria de Guimaraes a slight edge, but Maritimo are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
