Warrington Town welcome Ilkeston Town at Cantilever Park, Latchford, Warrington on Saturday, Dec 5 at 4:00 PM in a Northern Premier League fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 1 point split them in the table.
Warrington Town come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). Ilkeston Town travel in mixed form (2W 0D 3L), which may hand the initiative to the hosts.
In 3 previous meetings, Warrington Town lead 2–0 with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in Ilkeston Town won 1–2.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Warrington Town a slight edge, but Ilkeston Town are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
