West Bromwich Albion U21 face Crystal Palace U21 at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, West Midlands on Friday, Feb 19 at 8:00 PM in a basement battle that neither side can afford to lose. Both clubs are deep in the relegation picture in the Premier League 2, and defeat here could prove costly come the end of the season.
West Bromwich Albion U21 come into this fixture out of form (0W 2L recently). Crystal Palace U21, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (1W 1D 1L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks.
In 3 previous meetings, West Bromwich Albion U21 lead 0–2 with 1 draws. Their last encounter ended in a 0–0 draw.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives West Bromwich Albion U21 a slight edge, but Crystal Palace U21 are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
