Witton Albion and Nantwich Town meet on Saturday, Jan 2 at 4:00 PM with both clubs firmly in the mix for the European places in the Northern Premier League – West Division. Just 1 point separate them in the standings.
Witton Albion come into this fixture in good form (3W 0D 2L recently). Nantwich Town, meanwhile, arrive in good form (3W 1D 1L recently) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Witton Albion head into this on the back of a defeat, while Nantwich Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Verdict: Little separates these two on form or history. Home advantage could be the deciding factor — a narrow Witton Albion win or a draw looks most likely.
