Woking welcome FC Halifax Town at Laithwaite Community Stadium, Woking, Surrey on Saturday, Feb 6 at 4:00 PM in a National League fixture that's tighter on paper than the positions suggest — just 1 point split them in the table.
Woking come into this fixture in mixed form (2W 1D 2L). FC Halifax Town, meanwhile, arrive in mixed form (2W 2D 1L) — actually the better-performing side in recent weeks. Woking head into this on the back of a defeat, while FC Halifax Town arrive off a win — momentum clearly with the visitors.
Despite playing at home, Woking face a side that has dominated this fixture historically. FC Halifax Town have won 7 of 10 encounters, with 2 draws. Their last encounter ended in FC Halifax Town won 1–0.
Verdict: This looks an evenly matched contest. Home advantage gives Woking a slight edge, but FC Halifax Town are capable of causing problems. A draw would be a fair result.
